This program prepares breakfast, lunch and after school snacks to schools and partner agencies. Volunteers will receive a briefing on the day’s meals to be prepared, assist with portion control and proper storage to be delivered to schools. Volunteers will also assist with general kitchen cleanup duties as requested by the Executive Chef.
Requirements:
- Closed toe shoes, no sandals
- Dress appropriate to work in a kitchen environment (jeans, t-shirt). No low-cut shirts, tank tops or shorts above mid-thigh
Kitchen volunteers are asked to report directly to our new Mays Culinary Center located behind our Children's Pavilion on our SA Food Bank Campus.
