House of Neighborly Service is looking for volunteers to deliver home-cooked meals to seniors who are homebound, no longer drive, or do not have access to transportation.
The only requirement is to fill out an application and have a driver’s license. You can deliver meals alone or pair up with someone. Deliveries begin at 10:30 a.m., and each route typically takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
*YOU WILL RECEIVE 3 HOURS PER DELIVERY SHIFT*
NOTE: All meals are within the 78207 zip code. Our coolers, which hold the meals, are 42 inches long, 19 inches wide, and 20 inches deep (Igloo 150-Qt. Maxcold Performance Cooler). It fits most SUVs and 4-door cards in the back seat or trunk. Please make sure to return the cooler once the route is complete.
