Monday through Friday hundreds of volunteers set out in their own vehicles to deliver hot nutritious meals and breakfast packs to home bound, frail, elderly and persons with disabilities. Meals on Wheels drivers not only deliver nutritious food that our clients desperately need, but also provide much needed daily daily contact that improves their overall well-being. Volunteers are needed to donate their lunch hour once a week or every other week between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Meals on Wheels has 9 meal pick up sites, many of which are local churches and businesses within Bexar County.
