Emerging Leaders will offer a helping hand by participating in a service project to clean and sanitize sleeping mats in the Prospects Courtyard Area at Haven for Hope. The Courtyard is a safe outdoor sleeping space. Guests at Prospects Courtyard receive meals, communal showers, laundry, basic medical care and mental health care, and other basic services.
This activity will be messy but meaningful work so please dress appropriately (old tennis shoes, jeans, etc.). We do encourage that you wear your blue #ELCUWSA t-shirt and will provide an extra if needed.
Due to the nature of this service project, volunteers must be 18 years or older. Additional information will be emailed the week before this event.
