Description:
Help us prepare for our Second Annual Family Day, a citywide celebration of families and community! Leading up to the big event on Saturday, June 7th, we’ll be hosting a series of volunteer opportunities to assemble kits, organize donations, and set up key spaces. Your support will help us ensure hundreds of local families feel seen, celebrated, and supported.
Volunteer Activities:
Depending on the shift, volunteers may help with:
● Organizing family food kits and Family Care Closet to-go kits
● Creating a calming sensory play area for children
● Taking inventory, organizing and staging items
● Lifting and warehouse support
● General event setup (tables, signage, tents)
● Event day support (water station, craft station, registration, food distribution, etc.)
Indoor/Outdoor: Outdoor/ indoor depending on the shifts
Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes required. Comfortable clothing you can move in. Water and snacks will be provided!
Water and snacks will be available for volunteers. Please dress comfortably and according to the weather. This event will take place rain or shine.
