In collaboration with the city of San Antonio's Department of Human Services, Homeless Services, Harper's Chapel Baptist Church is hosting a Mobile Resource Hub from 11 am to 2 pm every Wednesday. The Resource Hub will provide our neighbors experiencing homeless a place to access showers, foods, clothing and an opportunity to talk with homeless specialist can connect them to service.
Volunteers will be assisting staff with signing clients up for showers and monitoring time limits, distributing food and clothing, and help with other services as needed.
In accordance with CDC guidance and the city of San Antonio's directive, safety measures will be set in place to mitigate transmissible diseases.
All volunteers must complete the "City of San Antonio's Participation Agreement including Release and Indemnification" form prior to or on the day of the event.
