What We Do

Common Thread provides long-term, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered advocacy to individuals impacted by sex trafficking across 65 counties in Texas. Covering from San Antonio to Houston and down to Coastal Bend area as well as Laredo, McAllen and Harlingen. Our advocates work relationally with youth and young adults, walking alongside survivors on their healing journeys—often from the initial point of crisis through to long-term stabilization and independence. These relationships are built on trust, consistency, and compassion, and they support survivors in accessing basic needs, medical care, mental health services, education, housing, and more.
