Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

During the tax filing season, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers contribute their time and expertise to provide free tax preparation for those who earn up to $60,000.  Training is provided and VITA sites are located throughout the city.  We currently have the following volunteer opportunities: volunteer tax preparer and volunteer intake/greeter. As a volunteer tax preparer or a volunteer intake/greeter you are needed from January through April 15^th.  We ask that each volunteer commit to 36 hours during the 13 week tax season.
