Grace Pavilion Community Outreach (GPCO)

Grace Pavilion Community Outreach is a 501(c)3 organization in San Antonio, Texas. We have been operating community outreach events since 2019 and we are planning our 4th Health-Fair & 6th annual Back-2-School Bash.

 We aim to reach students while providing health education and free health screenings to over families in the community. In 2023, we provided over 3500 backpacks with supplies to student’s Pre-K to 12th grade and expanded our free health screening to over 1000 community members. We have distributed over ten thousand backpacks with school supplies over a five-year period. In 2024, we plan to expand our health fair resources to increase community members’ access to free or affordable healthcare. The purpose of our health fair is to improve the quality of life and access to preventative care and wellness resources. In collaboration with community vendors, and health organizations, our health fairs address the needs of various underserved population and assist community members with access to health care. This resource provides an outreach tool for healthcare, prevention, wellness and treatment of health issues inspiring and supporting healthy living practices. The intention is to support in improvement of population health outcomes across San Antonio and nearby communities. Our health fairs have shown to have a positive impact on participants as many have been referred to community providers and connected with health insurance resources to support proper follow up. In addition, our annual health fair screening reach has increased by 1000% in 5 years, which shows that we continue to impact a larger pool of community members.
