Who We Are

Our Mission To provide support and access for uninsured or underinsured amputees to obtain quality prosthetics with comprehensive aftercare, and to generate public awareness for these individuals. Our Vision Restoring life, hope, and independence through the ability to walk again. History The Prosthetic Foundation was established in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to help the underserved amputee community throughout Texas be able to regain their mobility and independence so that they can return to work, engage in social activities with family and friends, and most importantly, avoid further health decline due to immobility. The Prosthetic Foundation is committed to ensuring that amputees receive a prosthesis as well as the follow-up care that is essential to successful outcomes; physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

What We Do

The Prosthetic Foundation helps uninsured or underinsured amputees who cannot otherwise afford it, to obtain a prosthesis so they can regain their mobility and independence and return to work, engage in social activities with family and friends, and most importantly, avoid further health decline due to immobility.
