Entrust Hospice San Antonio  has highly skilled professionals to provide medical care, spiritual support, and social services for patient and families when faced with end of life care.  

We provide end of life care for patients from 18-110.  What make Entrust Hospice San Antonio from others is we go the extra mile and provide complimentary therapies for our patients, such as:

Music Therapy from our board-certified Music Therapist who are also Neurologically certified.  There are multiple therapeutic benefits such as relieving anxiety and agitation, lessen pain, boost mood, promote deeper breathing, and facilitating communication.  For hospice patients nearing the end of life music therapist provide and create moments of joy, peace, and calming memories.  

Entrust Hospice provides Massage Therapy for their hospice patients.  It provides a means of relaxation, circulation, comfort, pain, and anxiety.  The gentle and appropriately adjusted massage is safe for patients who have been diagnosed with chronic and end stage terminal illness.   

Entrust has also incorporated Pet Therapy for our patients, along with our circle of trust:

Hospice Medical Director who works along side the patient's PCP and provides medical guidance for the Entrust Team

Nurse Case Managers who see the patient weekly and are responsible for all aspects of care and comfort.

Social Workers who assist in identifying community resources and provide counseling and support for the patient and family.

Chaplains/Spiritual Care Coordinators who support the family and patient with their spiritual needs consistent with the patient's individual beliefs and values.

Certified Home Health Aides are available to help patients with their personal care and hygiene.

Trained Volunteer are available for companionship and to help with errands.  

Entrust Hospice has a Bereavement Care Program that follows the patient's family for 13 months after the patient has passed to help with grief and community referrals.  They can implement a higher level intervention to ensure normal grieving processes are maintained.
