- 3-legged races
- Jump rope contests
- Hopscotch
- Ring toss
- Hula hoop contests
- Corn Hole
- Potato sack races

United Way Kids Festival is an exciting, fun, family-friendly, and completely free official Fiesta event that celebrates the children of our community! The goal of Kids Festival is to engage families from all walks of life with wonderful developmentally appropriate activities for children, while also connecting them directly to service providers who offer a variety of resources to our community. Traditionally around 70 local nonprofit agencies set up booths at a park, while over 1,000 families attend. There is a stage on location to offer a variety of entertainment and friendly competitions throughout the course of this 3-hour festival. Families will take home swag such as bags, books, games, fresh fruit, and more. Other volunteer duties could include:
Volunteer Activities include:
- Set-up tables
- Set-up booths
- Set-up food, drinks, ice for volunteers
- Decoration: balloons, streamers
- Attach tablecloths
- Hang banners
- Distribute signs
- Prepare sign-in tables
- Insure set-up of entertainment
- Help booth participants unload
- Lead booth participants to their table
