Come join other Emerging Leaders as we install a Born Learning Trail at Pittman-Sullivan Park as part of our MLK Service Project!
Volunteers MUST be Emerging Leaders Council members 18 or older. We will be installing posts, putting together signs, painting, stenciling and general park beautification.
Born Learning is an innovative public engagement campaign that helps parents, caregivers and communities create quality early learning opportunities for young children. A Born Learning Trail contains 10 interactive signs with activities for adults to engage in with young children to turn an outdoor trip into a fun learning experience.
Everyday life is a learning experience for children. Born Learning is a public engagement campaign that helps parents, grandparents and caregivers explore ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities! A Born Learning Trail provides young children with an opportunity to get active, have fun and boost language and literacy skills.
