VOLUNTEERS 14 and older are needed in the kitchen to help prepare the food for Thanksgiving Day. Children 8 years and older can volunteer the day of the event. Per the health inspectors, please refrain from wearing rings, watches and/or bracelets when working in the kitchen. No flip flops, opened toed shoes or high heels allowed in the kitchen. Purses will not be allowed in the kitchen area except for a small crossbody bag to be worn under the volunteer’s apron. You may dress casually and comfortably, and please leave valuables at home.
Parking - We are sorry to say there is no provision for parking for volunteers.
Entrance to Convention Center:
Wednesday Kitchen Volunteers – All volunteers enter through the main entrance of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 900 E. Market – follow the signage for directions.
