The 2023 United Way Help Me Grow Family Learn and Play Day is a FREE event for families in our community with children 0-6 years old.
The event will be held on Sunday, December 10th at the Hemisfair Park at 434 South Alamo St. from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a large variety of activities being offered for children ages 0-6 and their families. We are preparing for approximately 1,000 people to attend. The Family Learn and Play Day will take place rain or shine.
Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success!
Please note this event is a SMOKE FREE Event.
Volunteer Activities Include:
- Assisting at the Planting Activity Station, helping children with a take-home gardening activity.
- Helping at the Paper Mache/Coloring Station, assisting children with a coloring and paper mache flower activity.
- Additional tasks, helping children where needed with activities and games.
