Volunteers are needed to distribute completed Write Start school supply bags to teachers at ALL Schertz- Cibolo ISD campuses!
Each bag weighs approximately 7lbs and minimum delivery is 40 reusable bags.
Date: Monday, October 18, 2021
When: Various shifts between 9am – Noon
Where:
- Pick Up completed bags from Marion Dolford Learning Center where United Way volunteers will load your vehicle with 40+ completed school bags.
- Deliver to assigned Schertz-Cibolo ISD campus.
Volunteers will drive their own vehicle and deliver the completed bags to a Schertz-Cibolo ISD campus. Family members or team members can be in the same vehicle but ONLY the driver needs to register.
Please note you will be traveling with a minimum of 40+ reusable bags filled with school supplies. You will need ample room in your vehicle to hold bags. Typically bags will fill the backseat and the trunk. If you plan to bring more than 1 additional team member you may need an additional vehicle to split the school order between cars.
If you register for an additional shift you will be sent to a second school as well. You will have to return to the Marion Dolford Learning Center to reload your vehicle for your second delivery.
You will receive a follow up email on Thursday, October 14 with final details for pick up.
