United Way Kids Festival sponsored by the Texas Cavaliers is an official Fiesta® community event held at Lockwood Park in celebration and promotion of early childhood development. Families can come out and enjoy free refreshments, entertainment, information and activities.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Lockwood Park at 801 N. Olive St. from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be a large variety of activities being offered for children of all ages. United Way Kids Festival will have a Showmobile stage hosting numerous songs and dance acts along with mascot characters from San Antonio businesses and organizations. City officials will welcome participants and attendants throughout the day.
We are preparing for 3,000 to 5,000 people to attend. Kids' Festival will take place rain or shine.
Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success!

Volunteer Activities Include:
- Set-up tables
- Set-up booths
- Set-up food, drinks, ice for volunteers
- Decoration: balloons, streamers
- Attach tablecloths
- Hang banners
- Distribute signs
- Prepare sign-in tables
- Insure set-up of entertainment
- Help booth participants unload
- Lead booth participants to their tables
