Description

The incomparable queen of Latin jazz Magos Herrera is back! The Mexican singer-songwriter, producer and educator will share highlights from her latest album “Aire” featuring original music and jewels from the Great Latin American songbook. Magos will share the stage with her jazz trio: Vinicius Gomes, Sam Minaie and Alex Kautz.

 

Volunteers should arrive by 5:15pm at the plaza next to the Cathedral near the Gift Shop. There will be a brief orientation and assignments made. Tasks include setting up chairs and tables at three entrances, handing out programs with donation envelopes, scanning tickets at entrance, serving as ushers, collecting donations. helping with general clean-up and pack-up after concert.

Dress is BUSINESS CASUAL – (no shorts, flip-flops, or tank tops; we dress nicely out of respect for this sacred venue.)

Doors open at 6:15pm-ish (after Mass)

Concert runs 7:00pm-8:00pm-ish

We are usually done by 8:30pm. We ask all volunteers to stay after the concert to help clean up in and around the Cathedral and to return all supplies to Musical Bridges staff.

On Sunday, there is FREE parking at all downtown street-meters and parking slots around old City Hall. The City Tower parking garage (117 W. Commerce at Flores St.) is also FREE on Sundays.
