The Volunteer Center at United Way will be hosting it's 25th Night of a Thousand Stars honoring volunteers throughout the city on June 25, 2014 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The Volunteer of the Year Awards Program offers 18 opportunities for your favorite nominee to win an award as there are 18 categories of awards available. All nominees receive a commemorative medal to wear that night and to identify them as a nominee. A VIP reception is held for all nominees and a guest prior to being seated at the banquet. All nominees and one guest are invited to attend the event at no cost.
Last year 153 nominees were honored and over 800 people attended. We expect this event to be bigger and better than last year's, and we want YOU to be a part of it! Please check with your IT specialist or graphics director to ensure the photograph you submit meets the requirement.
